Plim Robotics, the new name for Munich's Devanthro GmbH, showed its Plim robot publicly on October 16, 2026, according to the company's news page. The company says in its rebrand announcement that Plim is the robot it previously called Robody, and it now pitches Plim for household chores and companionship in any home, not elderly care alone. Its product page lists a wheeled robot with a face, two arms with 2-finger grippers and a soft knitted shell, at 1.65 m, 80 kg and 2 hours of runtime before it returns to its dock.

The company describes 2 modes. In one, Plim does housework on its own; the home page says it "autonomously handles everyday household tasks." In the other, which the company calls step-in, a relative, friend or caregiver operates the robot remotely through a VR headset, appearing with their own face and voice. Devanthro's earlier website, still live on October 18, described its robots as AI for routine chores working alongside human remote operators, and said full autonomy in ordinary homes was years away for every company.

As of October 18, 2026, Plim Robotics publishes no price, order page, delivery date or sales region; households can register interest through a contact form. Its privacy policy covers the website and does not address camera, audio or radar data the robot collects in a home.
