Plain English First
We collect minimal data to keep the site working and understand what content is useful. We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising. We do not share your information with anyone except the infrastructure providers that make the site run.
The full policy below is specific to what we actually do, not a boilerplate covering possibilities we haven't pursued.
Who we are
cobesa is an independent evaluation platform for consumer humanoid robots, operated by its co-founders. cobesa is in the process of forming as a limited liability company in Illinois, United States. Until formation is complete, cobesa operates under the direction of its founders. Inquiries may be directed to the contact information at the bottom of this page.

What we collect and why
Information you give us
If you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us directly, we collect your email address and any information you include in that message. We use this only to respond to you or send you the content you requested. We do not add you to any other lists without your permission.
Information collected automatically
When you visit www.cobesa.ai, we use Google Analytics 4 to collect standard usage data: pages visited, time spent, referring source, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address (country, region, and city level, not a street address). Google Analytics also assigns your browser a randomly generated identifier so that repeat visits can be counted as one visitor rather than several.
We use this data to understand which content is useful and how the site performs. We look at it in aggregate. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine analytics data with your email address or any other information you give us. We use Google Tag Manager to load and manage the analytics code described above. Tag Manager is a container that decides which scripts run on a page. It does not collect data or set cookies on its own, and it does not track you. What it does mean is that loading any page on www.cobesa.ai contacts Google's servers, which makes your IP address visible to Google in the process. Google Analytics is the only tag currently running in our container. We do not run advertising pixels, conversion tracking, or third-party session-recording tools. If that changes, this policy and the cookie table above will be updated before the new tag goes live.
About Google Analytics specifically
Google Analytics is operated by Google LLC, which processes this data on our behalf and under its own terms. Google may use aggregated data across the sites that use its analytics products. Google's own privacy policy governs what Google does with the data it collects, and it is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
We have not enabled Google Signals, which is the feature that links analytics data to signed-in Google accounts for advertising purposes. We do not run Google Ads, we have no advertising account linked to our analytics property, and we do not use analytics data for remarketing or audience targeting.
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data entirely by installing Google's official opt-out browser add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or behavioral profiling. If you see a cookie on www.cobesa.ai that is not listed above, tell us and we will either explain it or remove it.

How to opt out
You can disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. Required cookies are necessary for the site to function; disabling analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the site.
Most browsers allow you to see and delete cookies in their privacy or settings menu. If you use a privacy-focused browser or an extension like uBlock Origin, analytics cookies are likely already blocked by default.
To block Google Analytics specifically, install Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. It works across every site using Google Analytics, not just ours.
If you subscribed to our newsletter and want off the list, every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us directly. We process unsubscribe requests promptly and in all cases within the ten business days required by law. You may also opt to decline analytics tracking in the pop-up cookie consent banner.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of infrastructure providers to operate the site. These providers process data only on our behalf and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes:
Google LLC provides Google Analytics 4 for aggregate usage measurement. Lovable provides site hosting and build infrastructure. Cloudflare provides security and bot-protection services. Supabase provides database and backend services. GoDaddy provides domain registration and DNS.
When we launch our newsletter, the email platform we use will be added to this list before the first send.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for commercial purposes.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. If you are located in the European Union or California, additional rights may apply under GDPR or CCPA respectively.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below. We will acknowledge your request and respond within the timeframe required by the law that applies to you, which is one month under GDPR and 45 days under CCPA. In practice we expect to respond considerably faster.
Children
www.cobesa.ai is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our data practices change. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated date. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without notice.
