Who operates this site

www.cobesa.ai is operated by cobesa, an independent evaluation platform for consumer humanoid robots. cobesa is in the process of forming as a limited liability company in Illinois, United States. Until formation is complete, the site is operated under the direction of its co-founders.

cobesa is not affiliated with any humanoid robot manufacturer. We have no financial relationship with any manufacturer whose products we cover unless that relationship is explicitly disclosed in the relevant content.

What cobesa publishes

cobesa publishes original editorial content: buyer guidance, product evaluations, category education, and founder perspective pieces. All content represents the independent judgment of cobesa's editorial team. cobesa does not publish content on behalf of manufacturers or accept payment to influence editorial positions.

cobesa's content is informational. It is not a substitute for your own due diligence before making a purchasing decision. Humanoid robots are expensive, complex products in an early and rapidly changing market. Read our content as one informed perspective, not as a guarantee of outcome.

On accuracy

We make every reasonable effort to ensure accuracy. We link to primary manufacturer sources for factual claims about pricing, specifications, and warranties. When information cannot be verified from a primary source, we say so explicitly.

Manufacturer specifications change. Prices change. Products get updated, discontinued, or recalled. Check the "last verified" date on any piece before acting on it, and verify current specifications directly with the manufacturer before making a purchase decision.

On verdicts and scores

Verdicts and scored evaluations reflect cobesa's methodology at the time of publication. cobesa's verdict methodology is published and linked from every scored piece. Verdicts represent editorial judgment, not objective fact, and reasonable people may disagree. Our methodology disclosure is what allows you to evaluate the basis for our conclusions.

What we promise you

Acceptable use

You may read, share, and link to cobesa content for personal and informational purposes. If you quote cobesa content, attribute it to cobesa and link to the original piece.

What you may not do

You may not reproduce cobesa content in bulk for commercial purposes without written permission. You may not represent cobesa's editorial positions as your own, or use cobesa's name, brand, or verdicts to imply that cobesa endorses a product or service. You may not use automated tools to access the site in ways that degrade performance for other visitors.

When cobesa content is quoted, summarized, or surfaced by search engines, AI answer tools, or other systems, we ask for the same thing we ask of any reader: attribute the material to cobesa and link to the original piece. Attribution is how independent evaluation stays traceable to the party accountable for it.

Intellectual property

All original content on www.cobesa.ai, including articles, evaluations, methodology documents, the cobesa brand system, and the Cobi mascot, is owned by cobesa and its founders. Manufacturer names, product names, and trademarks referenced in our content belong to their respective owners. We reference them for editorial purposes, not to imply affiliation.

Links to other sites

cobesa links to manufacturer sites and other sources as part of its commitment to primary sourcing. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. A link from cobesa is not an endorsement beyond the specific factual claim it supports.

cobesa currently runs no affiliate links and no advertising. If that changes, any link that earns cobesa a commission will be disclosed at the point it appears, not only in this document, and it will have no bearing on editorial positions or verdicts.

Limitation of liability

cobesa's content is provided for informational purposes. We are not responsible for purchasing decisions made based on cobesa content. Humanoid robots are high-value products with significant uncertainty in an early market. Do your own research, read manufacturer documentation, and where appropriate, consult the manufacturer directly before purchasing.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, cobesa's liability for any claim arising from use of this site is limited to the amount you paid to access the site. Since access to cobesa.ai is currently free, that amount is zero. This does not limit liability for fraud, gross negligence, or claims that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We will update these terms when our practices or structure change. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

When cobesa completes its LLC formation, these terms will be updated to reflect the legal entity. The operating party will change; the editorial commitments will not.

Accepting these terms

Reading www.cobesa.ai constitutes acceptance of these terms. Where cobesa collects information from you directly, such as a newsletter signup, you will be asked to affirmatively agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy at that point.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from use of www.cobesa.ai will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the State of Illinois.
